“Hear a Story, Read a Story” Santa Maria Valley Humane Society, Santa Maria, CA

Filed under: Events,Friends of Feather & the Pugs — pugblog @ 7:12 pm

Feather & I were privileged to initiate the first Santa Maria Valley Humane Society’s “Hear a Story, Read a Story” program. Following hearing Feather’s story from her book, “The Brown Paper Bag,” the children simulated Feather’s Grand Champion Race & watched Feather perform tricks. The children then read their favorite books, to the mutual delight of children & canines, that they had brought from home. As you can see these adoptable, well-cared for animals loved the experience. kudos to Hilda, Kira & the SMVHS staff for this wonderful & inspirational program.

My Special & Wonderful Friend, Ivy!

Filed under: Store Locations — pugblog @ 6:08 am

Ivy, who is the 4th grade sent me these wonderful photos of her and her drawing of me from my book.
Thank you so much Ivy. I hope one day to meet you. Maybe we can even go for a walk.
I tried to text you, however, I can’t seem to get my paws, even though they are small, to type very well.
Hugs and love licks,
~ Feather

Daddy Chris & I, with my little black dress & pearls were the only ones dressed for the Los Angeles Book Festival Awards Ceremony since Mommy & GG discovered their garment bag had been accidentally left in Mexico. They said it just added to the memory of this very special event. ~ Feather
